Change. One of the scariest words in the dictionary if you ask me. Change is defined as "make or become different". This for a lot of us is very difficult think about, let alone do.
Change can be a really great thing if you have a positive outlook on it. It can be a small change or a huge change. I recently cut my hair that I had been growing for years(with a trim here and there). I decided I was ready to get out of my comfort zone with having long hair and change to shorter hair. 7inches shorter to be exact. This for me was really hard because I was so comfortable with having my long hair. We all want to be comfortable in our own skin and feel good about ourselves but sometimes what we think is good for us isn't. Or if we change what we think goes from good to GREAT. Lifestyle changes. They can make you feel refreshed and new again. From a simple haircut to a diet/exercise plan. Little changes can go along way. So change that soda or juice into a water. Change that bowl of ice cream into a single serving of frozen yogurt. Change that short drive into a relaxing walk. Little changes can lead to a big change in the way you live your life and the way you feel about your life. Embrace the change. Its finally getting warm out. Thank goodness! For many of us its panic time. But don't worry I have lots of tips for getting rid of all that winter weight in time for the summer.
My tip would be to replace high calorie and high sugar juices with water. Lots and lots of water. If you don't care for the taste of water there are crystal light packets that can be added or even Mio. If you cant quit the juice cravings try low calorie and low sugar juice like slenderize Fuze. They are so so good and wont ruin your post summer slim down. Second tip: Become a rabbit! Think you've eaten enough veggies for the day? Think again! Try to at least eat a salad with every dinner. Feeling snacky? Pull out some carrots! Veggies will satisfy the snacking need and won't make you feel awful later. Thirdly, fruit. There is so much good sugar in fruit. But this kind of sugar is the good kind :) This is healthy sugar and fruit will keep your tummy happy and your sweet tooth :) Stay tuned for more spring-time-slim-down-tips :):) |
